In addition to Final Fantasy XV action role-playing video game, SQUARE ENIX has also created other sections include Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV (ブラザーフッド ファイナルファンタジーXV) anime series and Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV (キングスグレイブ ファイナルファンタジーXV) CG movie.
Kingsglaive movie has been released in Japanese theaters since early July, and will be released in the US in August 2016. The movie will be released as a digital download at the end of August, and followed by Blu-ray and DVD on October 4, 2016
There is also a special version that comes bundled with FFXV Special Edition which is preparing to release on September 30, 2016. The plot of Kingsglaive chapter is a parallel story in the view of Lucis kingdom led by King Regis Lucis Caelum (father of Noctis Lucis Caelum the game's protagonist).
The CG movie's protagonist is Nyx Ulric one of the king's guard unit called Kingsglaive.
